Support the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra
No matter how large or small, your gift of music will enrich the lives of countless Mississippians now and for generations to come. Uphold a grand tradition. Please lend your financial support to MSO.
For 64 years, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra has brought the life-changing gift of live symphonic music to our state. The generosity of hundreds of individuals, foundations and businesses help us bring our many programs to life:
- MSO performs a wide variety of symphonic literature, including classical, light classical, chamber music and pops. From the Bravo Series to Pepsi Pops, MSO frequently collaborates with many of the state's performing ensembles and soloists. MSO performs regularly in these communities: Canton, Vicksburg, Columbus, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurel, Pascagoula, McComb, Oxford, Grenada, Amory, and Livingston (AL).
- MSO musicians live in this state and contribute to its economy. They travel not only as members of the orchestra and its ensembles, but as individuals who perform and teach state-wide. Their students are our future well-rounded citizens and leaders.
- MSO has an extensive education program that includes small group and full orchestra performances for literally thousands of school students in several communities. We have partnerships with schools in Pascagoula, Vicksburg, Jackson, Clinton, Laurel and others. Our Jackson Public School partnership reaches 400 students in individual string instruction, 6,300 students with small ensembles and 14,500 young people with full orchestra concerts.
MSO gratefully accepts contributions in cash, negotiable securities, including appreciated stock, at all giving levels. No matter how you choose to give, you will enjoy the benefit of a tax-deductible contribution.
