MSO Across Mississippi
The MSO travels on a regular basis to many cities around the state. We offer full orchestra concerts with classical, pops or a combination of literature, as well as Chamber by Candlelight concerts (with a smaller chamber orchestra) and school visits by our String Quartet, Woodwind Quintet and Brass Quintet. MSO at Vicksburg National Military Park Park (Vicksburg, MS)*
Saturday, May 24, 2014, 7:00 PMA free orchestra concert will be held on the grounds of the Vicksburg National Military Park. Shuttles will be provided to assist with parking and the public is invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an evening pops concert with full orchestra, conducted by Crafton Beck. The concert is present as a collaboration between the Friends of Vicksburg National Military Park and Campaign & Four Seasons of the Arts. Funding for the concert comes, in part, from Trustmark Bank and the National Park Service’s Lower Mississippi Delta Initiative.
