100 years after the sensational premier of The Rite of Spring scandalized Parisian audiences, the music to Stravinsky’s ballet masterpiece has not lost its primal effect.  Its electrifying melodies and rhythms will close the season with a bang. Hear it live along with Britten’s stormy Sea Interludes and Millsaps alumnus Samuel Jones’ Trumpet of the Swan based on stories from The Golden Apples by Eudora Welty.
