The MSO under the direction of Maestro Crafton Beck nd featuring the Classical Mystery Tour presents A Tribute to Lennon and McCartney. Included in the show are such classics as “Imagine”, “Yesterday”,”Let It Be”, “Across the Universe”, “Jet”, “Live and Let Die”, “All You Need is Love”, and many more. A Tribute to Lennon and McCartney is the best of John Lennon and Paul McCartney like you’ve never heard them before. The show presents songs penned by the dynamic songwriting duo as well as material from their solo years, all performed exactly as they were originally recorded.

You might say it’s the best show Lennon and McCartney never did!

A benefit concert for MSO

88 x 8 is back!  Yes, eight pianists will play eight pianos for a total of 704 keys!!!  All at the same time. Eight of the most prominent pianists and organists of the Jackson area have donated their time and talent for the benefit of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.  Dr Tim Coker will conduct and the whole program is being produced – yet again – by Lester Senter Wilson.  Eight pianos produces a veritable wall of sound, and the music is always great as well as fun!!!  If you’ve been before, we know you cannot be kept away, and if you’ve not . . . well, this is your opportunity for a real treat!
