MSO Across Mississippi
In addition to Pepsi Pops in Jackson, MSO performs in several communities in May. Join MSO for a twilight concert on the Courthouse Square in downtown Canton, or in the park in Laurel, or for an inviting family concert in McComb or Greenville. Many of MSO's concerts around the state are supported by a generous gift from Trustmark Bank.

The 2009 Premier Orchestral Institute will be held June 1-6, 2009 at Millsaps College. This year's POI will feature nationally and internationally-known staff.

The 2008 Symphony Ball
The 2008 Symphony Ball: "The Music of Mississippi" took place on September 27, 2008 and was a great success. The Symphony Ball, an annual event since 1960, is the Jackson Symphony League's largest fundraiser of the year.
MSOA Signs New 3-Year Contract With Musicians
The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce a new three-year contract agreement reached between the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Association and the MSO musicians' union offering a stable outlook and increased annual salaries through the Fall of 2011.
88x8 RETURNS - back by popular demand!
Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 7:00 PM will herald the return of one of MSO's most popular fundraising events - eight grand pianos (each with 88 keys!) and eight pianists, playing the music of Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Bach and ending with the delightful Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens.
