The Mississippi Symphony Youth Orchestras (MYSO) announce auditions

Three ensembles led by Robert Blaine, Stephanie Maisel and Tammy Luke form the core of MYSO, which focuses on quality ensemble playing.  Rehearsals begin September 6 with auditions scheduled for September 4 and 5.

MSO President Finishes Two-Year Leadership Program

With students and faculty of many nationalities and from as far away as Peru, MSO's 2009 Premier Orchestral Institute engaged string students from elementary age through college.

MSO Across Mississippi

In addition to Pepsi Pops in Jackson, MSO performs in several communities in May. Join MSO for a twilight concert on the Courthouse Square in downtown Canton, or in the park in Laurel, or for an inviting family concert in McComb or Greenville. Many of MSO's concerts around the state are supported by a generous gift from Trustmark Bank.
