The Golden Ball - A Glittering Success!

The sounds of the MSO Brass Quintet invited guests into the County Club of Jackson for the Jackson Symphony League's celebratory evening on September 26.  Guests at the fundraiser were treated to champagne as they entered. Beautiful curtains and flowers defined the lobby area, where guests viewed information about the live auction items and listened to the MSO String Quartet.  A host of silent auction items were also available for perusal, all to the sounds of the MSO Woodwind Quintet.  A wonderful dinner and a great live auction with auctioneer Jim Wilkirson and fabulous celebrity dancers rounded out the evening. The evening's theme extended all the way to dessert, where pieces of chocolate were imbedded with beautiful gold stars and music notes. After dessert, guests danced the night away. MSO salutes JSL President Nora Frances McRae and the entire JSL membership as well as Kim Porter, Ball Chair, and the Ball committee for a stellar evening!
