Frank Lynch: Oboe
Frank Lynch has been the MSO's Principal Oboe since 1978, and has been a featured soloist with the orchestra on several occasions. A native Mississippian, Mr. Lynch attended the University of Alabama where he received the Bachelor of Music Degree. He then was accepted into the studio of famed oboist Robert Bloom at Yale University where in 1975 Mr. Lynch earned the degree of Master of Music. In addition to being a founding member of the MSO Woodwind Quintet, Mr. Lynch performs with the Delta Symphony Association and from 1985 - 1996 was a producer announcer for WPRM, Public Radio in Mississippi.
